Natalia Gugueva, the famous documentary filmmaker, has filmed her debut feature film The Fog in Murmansk region and is going to present it at the festival this year.
The plot is based on the complicated relations of a man and a woman, parents and a child. This is a story about two meteorologists who suddenly disappeared from a remote arctic island. Olga Krasko and Evgeny Kharitonov are starring in their roles. A young journalist comes to the island after their mystic disappearance and starts her investigation.
The film was shot in Murmansk and Teriberka, on the Barents Sea shores. at the oldest functioning weather station. The film is expected to be shown in cinemas this year.
According to Natalia Gugueva the idea for this film appeared four years ago at the Northern Character Film Festival when she participated in the festival in Murmansk with some films about air force pilots.
The government of Murmansk region supported the production of this film through the rebate program.

It took about two years to prepare this project. The script was written by the director in cooperation with Natalia Meshaninova. They moved the action time of the film from the 1960’s to the present day.
TNT representatives and actors will arrive in Murmansk for the premiere.
